There are two tea party rallies planned for Goshen and at least one in
Elkhart.
1) A large outdoor rally on Sat 4/11 at the Goshen Courthouse 11 AM - 1 PM. This will have speakers and plenty of room for people to see and participate. Located at the corner of Lincoln and Main St. in Goshen, IN.
2) There will be smaller rallies on Tax Day 4/15 at the Goshen Post Office on US33 and the Elkhart Post Office downtown. They will be from 5-9 PM, with signs and crowds but no speakers.

The participation was great many people were present supporting the cause. Over 300 were present for Goshen. I have not heard how many for the Elkhart event. Anyone having this information please post it.

I wish that more local people and or groups would take a look at the some of the local laws and rules that have passed and are being proposed. One example is the new subdivision (land split) ordinance that passed last year and another is the new zoning ordinance being proposed now. These new rules are effecting property rights in ways that are yet to be understood. A recent example last month was an amish farmer who owns a 100 acre farm and he wanted to sell 20 acres to his son. His petition was denied. People should be able to use and sell their land and property freely. We do not need more big brother especially at the local level.
